Overview

Pick a mood and Popcornie pulls films from Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Korean and English cinema, explains why each one fits, and keeps your watchlist when you sign in.
The problem
Choosing a film takes longer than watching one. Popcornie starts from how you feel tonight instead of from a search box, and spans six film industries at once.
How it works
You choose one or more moods, then filter by language and era, and the results update live. Each film comes with its poster, backdrop and trailer from TMDB.
If you still can't decide, a slot-machine reel loaded with matching films picks one for you. Signed-in viewers can keep a watchlist, mark films as watched and rate them, synced through Firebase.
It installs to the home screen as a progressive web app.
